Weekday worship

Daily Offices

The morning and evening offices are short acts of worship that ground us in Gods care at the start and end of each day. At St Peter's they are both reverent and informal. We pray for ourselves and for all the world, even when there are only two of us! - we often pause to discuss the daily readings.

Wednesday Holy Communion

This service of said communion in traditional language takes place in one of our side chapels, in an atmosphere that is reflective and spiritual.

All kinds of people join us, including those who may not wish to be out in the evenings, or who may find an early start problematic, for reasons of health or mobility for instance.

This congregation gets to know each other and form friendships over coffee and cake after the service. Our Christmas lunch in a nearby restaurant has already become a tradition, and plans are being developed to offer excursions, talks, bible study, or whatever people might find most appealing.

Pram service

This is an informal service for mothers with babies and very young children, followed by an opportunity to socialise over refreshments.
